Soccer News:CONGRATULATIONS to the Soccer team for winning 3rd place in the Red Division Championship! They played hard all season and did a fantastic job! Thank you to Coach Marvin Diaz and Assistant Coach Gabe Morin for all the hard work and training the players at the practices. Thank you to all the parents for their help and support through the season. And a special thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Sergio Garcia for all their support and time they give to helping prepare the players for the practices and the games!

Cheerleading News: St. Augustine is happy to announce a new cheerleading squad for the 2011-2012 school year with the help of Liza Rivera and Valiza Monroe. Practices are Mondays and Fridays 3:30 - 4:30 and Thursdays 4 - 5. For after school practices on Mondays and Fridays, the girls are asked to change ASAP after dismissal and then meet in the gym at 3:30. On Thursdays, they need to change ASAP after dismissal, meet in the gym and there will be 2 parents there to monitor the girls for homework time from 3:15 - 4 until practice starts. CHEER CAMP REMINDER - First day of Cheer camp is Saturday, November 1st from 9:00am - 2:00 pm. Second day is Saturday, November 12th from 9:00am - 2:00pm. Please email Liza Rivera at lizarivera1@msn.com for more information. UPDATE: There will be NO cheerleading practice on Thursday November 10 due to Parent/Teacher Conferences!

Athletic Physicals Policy
ALL STUDENTS participating in a sport must update the following paper work annually: The parent/guardian consent form, medical history form, and physical evaluation form. The parent / guardian, medical history, and physical evaluation are to be completed before any practice (both in-season and out-of-season) or games / matches. The forms of "Parent/Guardian consent" (HM260.1a) "Medical History"(HM620.1b,c), and "Physical Evaluation" (HM620.1d) are to be used by all schools. Updated for 2010-2011! Athletic physicals are requires on all students participating in sports. All students participating in sports currently are required to have sports physicals.
